IN-PERSON PD: Code, Connect, and Discover AI with Micro:bit

Discover how to integrate coding and hands-on technology into your classroom to help students explore the fundamentals of artificial intelligence. In this session, you’ll learn how to wire and code a micro:bit with a HuskyLens — a smart vision sensor capable of color, facial, movement, and line recognition. By combining these tools, you’ll create interactive projects that demonstrate how AI recognizes and responds to its environment, giving students a tangible understanding of how artificial intelligence works. All activities are curricular aligned with SaskEd outcomes from grades 6 – 11.
This is an in-person PD session. SaskCode will cover sub costs. Pair this PD with our Edison PD from 1:00 – 3:15 to make it a full PD day!!! Sessions are limited to 20 participants per session.
