Micro:bit Robot Car PD (Gr. 5-9)

Learn how to code a Micro:bit robot car in this fun, hands-on session. Participants will start with introductory Micro:bit activities to build confidence with coding, inputs and outputs, and wireless communication before progressing to robot car challenges. From there, they will explore remote control and autonomous driving while developing coding and problem-solving skills through engaging robotics activities. In the classroom, students can use the prototype car or design their own chassis using recyclable materials. You’ll leave with practical ideas and classroom-ready lessons that connect to Science, Math, ELA, Social Studies, and PAA (Robotics).
