The new and improved Micro:bit kit comes with motors, wheels, water pumps, and all the necessary parts to make environmentally responsible projects using endless creativity. This session is intended for Grade 6 – 11 teachers as it targets grade 6 – 11 outcomes with an emphasis on science, Math and PAA. In this session, teachers will learn how to code and apply those skills to create a Micro:bit car made out of recycled materials. This is the first of a series of green technology sessions using the Micro:bit. Teachers will be sent a Micro:bit robot kit to use with their PD session.
